WASHINGTON D.C. TRIP
We will visit Capitol Hill annually to provide members with the opportunity to see government in action. We will meet with professionals working in science policy as well as congressional representatives.

SCICOM WORKSHOPS & COMPETITIONS
We will help you develop the skills needed to effectively communicate your research and ideas to a non-technical audience, whether it be members of your community or public officials. We will also host competitions to give members the chance to show off their science communication talents.

LOCAL SCIENCE POLICY WORK
We are an Allied Group with the Union of Concerned Scientists team-based organizing initiative and are currently starting some local science advocacy projects. Here are some recent highlights of our local food security project. Please email us if you are interested in getting involved!
